4. TRX/Suspension trainer

 

A TRX Suspension trainer, is a strap that you can place on a door, tree, pole and or park pull up bar to execute some fantastic movement patterns.

This exercise is equipment is easy to travel with because it can easily be added to your suitcase/weekender if you are on the go. Because the suspension trainer is not heavy at all, it makes this a very versatile training tool that can help you tremendously while you traveling and working with your coach or on your own. With this tool, you will be able to strengthen your entire body without having to use any heavy weights.

A person can accomplish many push up variations, squats, pull exercises, push exercises. I believe if you only had the TRX in your arsenal, you can perform many challenging and efficient exercises to help you become fit.

3. Foam Roller

 

This exercise equipment is a must have in your training tool kit. Why? Because your body needs to be warmed up and cool down properly. With this tool, you can make sure that your muscles are properly lengthen and prepped for exercise so that when you execute any movement, you decrease the chances of injuring yourself. In addition, can and should be used after your training sessions as a way to recover from you work outs and decrease any inflammation and reduce soreness from your hard workout.

People tend to skip the utilization of a foam roller at the start of there training session, and it is in my belief that if you fall in that category that you are making a grand mistake. By not using a foam roller you may be  increasing the chances of injuring yourself within your training sessions.

2. Mini Bands

 

The mini band is a cost efficient exercise equipment that is a no brainer to keep at home for workouts. These bands come in all sizes and intensities and can easily be left at home and or your traveling kit. A mini band can enhance your warm up routine and even during the actual meat of your training sessions. You can pick up a pack of these for as little at $16 with various intensities. The one’s that you see above are a bit more heavy duty and cost $29 however, these will stay in tact for a longer period of time. These types of bands are great to help increase muscle endurance, recovery from intense training, injury prevention and as a injury recovery tool.

1. Resistance Bands

The last exercise equipment that may be a good idea to add to your toolbox are resistance bands. Heavy dumbbells weights are not required at home to get a great pump, build muscle and increase your strength. Resistance bands come in many intensities all the way from 10 lbs to 50 lbs and more. You can easily fit this in your travel suitcase or leave in your car for an outdoor work out. When working with clients at home, in their backyards or in the park bands can help you execute some efficient training session.

You can execute exercises such as squats, deadlifts, over head shoulder presses, chest presses, rows and more.
